I built a fleet manager app that we pitched to the Chennai Metropolitan Transport Corporation to help them manage their fleet of buses, and extend better services to their patrons.

• Led the development of the Swish web app, an employee experience platform, from scratch with a small team of developers.
• Created a comprehensive design system, accompanied by a reusable UI component library by collaborating closely with our UX designers. This super-charged our feature development time.
• Recently led an overhaul of the chat feature, including migration to a new chat service provider, resulting in a significant increase in user engagement and a 40% improvement in app performance.
• Developed readable, reusable, and unit-tested code for the web app using React, TypeScript, and Redux.

Worked on Vani HQ from Jan 2020 - Oct 2020

• Vani is a visual collaboration tool with an infinite SVG canvas, that had to render thousands of objects seamlessly. Code performance was top priority.
• Improved the time to First Meaningful Paint by refactoring older code with relevant functions from the CanvasKit library, which leverages webassembly for seemless graphics rendering.

Worked on ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus from February 2017 - January 2020

• Built Field and Form Rules, a core feature of the Service Requests module, which allows admins to create complex rules and conditional workflows in their forms
• Developed an automated testing tool using Puppeteer and NodeJS to test UI and browser rendering performance, significantly reducing bugs and improving the user experience.
• Delivered high-quality code as a full-stack developer using JavaScript, Ember.js and jQuery for the front end, and Java + Spring for the backend.
